Auto insert retweets as WP blog comments

Last week I sent out a question on Twitter…

Anyone know if there is a #wordpress plugin that posts Twitter RTs and mentions to blog comments (like Discus does)?

Since I have so many WordPress focused Twitter followers (following me because I followed them), I thought it was worth a shot. I didn’t receive any replies, so figured there simply wasn’t a plugin available with the ability to post RT’s as comments yet.

Out of sheer frustration, I searched the WordPress plugins again today, and found Twitoaster – Twitter Posts, Comments & Conversations.

The Twitoaster WordPress Plugin automatically retrieves Twitter replies to your Blog’s posts. These “Twitter comments” are displayed like comments, on the posts pages they are related to.

Would you like to help me test it out? Simply retweet this post by using the Twitter icon below, or any other method of retweeting that you may use such as browser functions. I’ve installed, (thank you, WordPress, for making plugin installation “one click easy”!) and set up the Twitoaster plugin. I already had a Twitoaster account, so retrieving my Twitoaster API key was very easy.

I’m interested to see how this works, so thanks in advance for the help in testing it out! :)
